TITLE:

- Briefing, Choosing rows, and Identifying the tree's main issues.

INTRODUCTION:

- For this semester we were instructed to go to the durian plot. When we arrived at the plot we were instructed to choose a row of durian trees.

-Plant number line 4.

-8 durian trees.

OBJECTIVE:

- To identify problems for each durian tree in their respective rows.

ACTIVITIES:

-At 6.30a.m until 7.00a.m we gathered at parking lot behind Blok FPA. We took the attendance and we did some exercises before we attended the Muster Call.

-At 7.00a.m until 8.00a.m we gathered at Office Operation Agrotecnology. We sang the National Anthem, Wawasan Setia and Planters Song. Lecturers FPA attended the Muster Call. Student part 2 as a moderator.

-At 8.00a.m until 9.00a.m Sir Fairuz came to us and explain the activity that will we did in the week. Sir Fairuz took us to the durian plot. He also instructed us to choose one row of durian trees. After everyone had their own row, we were asked to identify the problems for each tree in each row. 

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEMS FOR EACH PLANT:

For every durian tree in my row there are many weeds around the tree.

Here we can see that the durian leaf is affected by an insect attack which causes the leaf to become hollow in the middle.

For this tree, it has already produced fruit but the fruit is slow to grow and there are also some fruits that fall from the bunch.

There is a musang king durian tree that has died due to lack of nutrients and water.Contains 4 nutrients that needed for fruiting specially to avoid fruit cracking, Potassium for better fruit size,Mg for better photosynthesis,Ca for better fruit wall cell, S for better fruit aroma.

SUGGESTION FOR OVERCOME THE PROBLEMS

1. Use the grass cutting machine or hoe to clear the weeds around the trees.
2. Avoid high nitrogen of fertilizer during preparation of flowering.
3. Apply the pesticide and the NPK fertilizer to the durian trees.
4. Make sure the irrigation system 
5. Contains 4 nutrients that needed for fruiting specially to avoid fruit cracking, Potassium for better fruit size, Mg for better photosynthesis, Ca for better fruit wall cell, S for better fruit aroma.

    - Equipment: Grass cutting machine (3 Units)

   - Input: Petrol (4 Liter), 2T Oil (40ml), Nylon Rope (6 Sets)
